Baseball Recap: Roland Gets the Win

Roland took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Valliant, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rangers won by a run and slipped past the Bulldogs 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rangers have posted since April 6th.

The win made it two in a row for Roland and bumps their season record up to 8-21. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Valliant, they dropped their record down to 14-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Roland nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
