Basketball Game Preview: Poolville Monarchs vs. Hico Tigers

Poolville has won three straight games at home, while Hico has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Poolville Monarchs will be home for the holidays to greet the Hico Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Poolville will be strutting in after a victory while Hico will be coming in after a loss.

Poolville's tournament run continued when they took on Slidell on Thursday. Poolville snuck past Slidell with a 52-47 win.

Meanwhile, Hico suffered their biggest defeat since February 13th on Thursday. They were beaten by Troy 63-25.

Poolville's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Hico, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Everything came up roses for Poolville against Hico when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 58-17 win. Does Poolville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hico turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
