Soccer Recap: Douglas Gets the Win

Douglas's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They never let the Scottsboro Wildcats onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Eagles were the better team in the second half.

Anthony Cortez and Jouse Juarez scored both of Douglas' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The victory got Douglas back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Douglas will square off against Gadsden City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up.
