Recap: Linton-Stockton Miners vs. North Knox Warriors
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Linton-Stockton Miners had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 43-36 win over the Warriors. Winning may never get old, but Linton-Stockton sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lexi Primus, who scored 15 points. Brynna Collins was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Linton-Stockton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for North Knox, their loss dropped their record down to 25-2.
Linton-Stockton and North Decatur will face off at 4:00 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. North Decatur has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 230 points over their last four matches. North Knox does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
