Basketball Game Preview: Chatfield Chargers vs. Regis Jesuit Raiders

The Chatfield Chargers will head out to square off against the Regis Jesuit Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chatfield is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Chatfield's tournament run continued when they took on Cody on Saturday. Chatfield received a blow as they fell 63-48 to Cody.

Despite the loss, Chatfield saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sadie Goodwin went 6 for 15 on her way to 17 points and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Goodwin has scored all season. Jordyn Reed was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Regis Jesuit beat Rigby 54-44 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Regis Jesuit has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Chatfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
