Basketball Recap: Holly Pond Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Holly Pond couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They received a blow on Thursday as they fell 42-28 to the Lauderdale County Tigers. The matchup marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Holly Pond's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Lauderdale County, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 29-1.

As of now, neither Holly Pond nor Lauderdale County have any future games scheduled.
