Softball Recap: Tea Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Tea, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Tea pushed their record up to 5-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Yankton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Tea beat Yankton by a score of 7-1 later that day.
