Wyoming East is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Chapmanville Regional is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Wyoming East Warriors will take on the Chapmanville Regional Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Thursday, Wyoming East faced Summers County in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Wyoming East simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Summers County 65-34 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Wyoming East has posted yet this season.

Maddie Clark was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten assists. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cadence Blackburn, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Meanwhile, Chapmanville Regional scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 82-49 victory over Scott. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Chapmanville Regional has posted against Scott since February 1, 2019.

Wyoming East has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Chapmanville Regional, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Everything went Wyoming East's way against Chapmanville Regional in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as Wyoming East made off with a 57-34 victory.
