Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Lake Oswego

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Oswego). They came out on top against the Jackson Timberwolves by a score of 59-51 on Monday. While the Lakers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Lake Oswego, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Jackson, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Lake Oswego will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westview at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Jackson will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Glacier Peak at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
