Volleyball Recap: Billingsley Victorious

The Billingsley Bears were able to grind out a solid win over the Shelby County Wildcats on Thursday, taking the game 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Billingsley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-21.

Billingsley's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Shelby County, their loss ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5.

Billingsley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shelby County, they will face off against Bibb County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
