Basketball Game Preview: Lockwood LIONS vs. Hardin Bulldogs

Lockwood has won three straight games at home, while Hardin has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Lockwood LIONS will host the Hardin Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Friday, Lockwood got the win against Sidney by a conclusive 69-47. Given the LIONS's advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Eagles are ranked 45th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Hardin humbled Dawson County with a 66-39 victory.

Lockwood is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.9 points. As for Hardin, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.

Everything went Lockwood's way against Hardin when the teams last played back in January, as Lockwood made off with a 60-40 victory. Does Lockwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hardin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
