Softball Recap: Holy Cross Takes a Loss

Holy Cross lost against Seymour back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Crusaders fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 7-6.

Holy Cross' loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Seymour, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Holy Cross will face off against Pomperaug at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Seymour, they will square off against St. Paul Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats are on a six-game streak of home wins, the Falcons a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
