Basketball Game Preview: Bayshore Bruins vs. Southeast Seminoles

Bayshore is 0-10 against Southeast since December of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Bayshore Bruins will look to defend their home court against the Southeast Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. Bayshore is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Bayshore took a blow against Parrish Community, falling 62-32. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 592nd, while the Bulls are ranked 246th).

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Anthony Matute, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 12 points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Southeast, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Manatee by a score of 68-56 on Tuesday.

Southeast's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Bayshore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-19.
