It was a good run, but CSTHEA unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-match winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the New Life Camp Storm. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Audrey Richardson paced CSTHEA's offense, picking up three kills. Richardson got some help from Emmi Black and her six assists. Black was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

CSTHEA's defeat dropped their record down to 20-5. As for New Life Camp, the victory (which was their 26th in a row) raised their record to 29-1.

CSTHEA and New Life Camp should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. The Patriots will take on East Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (32 vs. 146). Meanwhile, New Life Camp (ranked second) will meet Durham Academy (ranked 62nd) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
