Baseball Recap: Manchester Academy Takes a Loss

Manchester Academy and North Delta squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Manchester Academy had to settle for second. They lost 10-3 to the Green Wave. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Wave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 on Tuesday.

Jon Parker Dees was cooking despite his team's loss, earning one RBI, one run, and three stolen bases. Adam Edger was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Manchester Academy and nudges their season record down to 29-11. As for North Delta, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-10.

As of now, neither Manchester Academy nor the Green Wave have any future games scheduled.
