Soccer Game Preview: Walton vs. Milton

The Walton Raiders will face off against the Milton Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Walton has four straight wins, Milton has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Walton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Etowah, who was ranked 24th at the time (Walton was ranked sixth). The Raiders never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory last Friday. Give Walton's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Meanwhile, Milton came up short against Gainesville last Thursday and fell 3-1.

Walton's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Milton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
