Basketball Recap: Allegan Takes a Loss

Allegan was the 67-53 winner over Galesburg-Augusta when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Allegan Tigers took a 65-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Galesburg-Augusta Rams on Monday. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Allegan now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Galesburg-Augusta, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Allegan won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Black River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Allegan is facing Black River at the right time seeing as Black River is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Galesburg-Augusta, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Coloma at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
