La Joya Community scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 15-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kellis Cougars. The Fighting Lobos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Dominik Garcia put in work no matter where he played.
