Volleyball Recap: Florence Takes a Loss

Florence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Ingram Moore Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9, 25-8.

Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 7-21. As for Ingram Moore, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Florence will square off against rival Blanco at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ingram Moore is set to take on their familiar foe Brady at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
