Soccer Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short

Freedom lost against Ashe County back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Patriots came up short against the Huskies, falling 3-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Freedom's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 2-3-1. As for Ashe County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Freedom will host East Burke at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ashe County, they will head out on the road to square off against Hibriten at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
