Volleyball Recap: William Byrd Takes a Loss + How To Watch

William Byrd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Staunton River Golden Eagles. The Terriers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

William Byrd's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Staunton River, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. William Byrd will square off against rival Northside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Staunton River is set to take on their familiar foe Fleming at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
