Basketball Recap: Ogilvie Comes Up Short

Ogilvie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 96-30 loss at the hands of the Braham Bombers. Having soared to a lofty 62 points in the game before, the Lions couldn't push the score so high this time.

Braham found their leader in sophomore Soren Lilly, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 15 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lilly has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Eklund, who went 10 for 23 en route to 22 points along with six steals and five assists.

Ogilvie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Braham, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

Ogilvie will face off against Aitkin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Braham, they will welcome Pine City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
