Softball Recap: Bartlett Comes Up Short

Bartlett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Arlington Tigers, falling 20-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Brenlee Suarez was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Madelynn Thompson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Bartlett's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Arlington, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-9-2.

While Bartlett had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
