Baseball Recap: Sanger West Sets Scoring Season-High Against Dinuba

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sanger West). They put the hurt on the Dinuba Emperors with a sharp 7-1 win on Saturday. The Hornets not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since May 10, 2024.

Alijah Guzman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.
