Football Game Preview: Wynnewood vs. Wewoka

On Thursday Wynnewood will take on Wewoka at 7:00 PM. Wynnewood are the favorites in this one -- although they were the favorites in their last game, too, so the odds might count for a little less.

Last Friday, Wynnewood came up short against Wayne, falling 32-41. The loss shouldn't obscure the performances of junior Tyler Peters, who rushed for 152 yards and 1 touchdown, and senior Preston Hudson, who caught passes for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns. This marked the 6th contest in which Peters has rushed for over 100 yards.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Wewoka, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 14-38 walloping at Mounds's hands.
