Soccer Recap: Western Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Western was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They lost 5-1 to the Cooper City Cowboys. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Wildcats struggled afterwards.

Western has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Cooper City, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2-1.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Western face off against the Coral Glades at 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cooper City, they will square off against Everglades at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cooper City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season.
