It's playoff time, and Douglas had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Newcastle Dogies 3-0 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Dogies: they've now won seven in a row.

Leah Ewing paced Douglas' offense, picking up 19 kills. Ewing got some help from Avynn Yost and her 34 assists. Yost was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Douglas' victory bumped their record up to 33-8. As for Newcastle, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-19.

As of now, neither Douglas nor the Dogies have any future games scheduled.
