Basketball Recap: Nevis Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northome/Kelliher, Nevis was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They snuck past the Red Lake Warriors with a 57-53 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won nine in a row.

Red Lake's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kami Cook, who posted 16 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Marya Kingbird, who scored ten points.
