Basketball Game Preview: Macon Tigers vs. Fayette Falcons

The Macon Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Fayette Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses dating back to last season for Macon and five for Fayette dating back to last season.

Last Saturday, Macon lost to Van-Far on the road by a 58-43 margin. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 394th, while the Indians are ranked 73rd).

Meanwhile, Fayette played a tough contest two weeks ago in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 77-32 defeat at the hands of Westran. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-8.

Macon will have to keep a close watch on Kaleb Friebe and Thad Quint, a pair of players who had a big impact on Fayette's prior game. Friebe posted seven points and eight rebounds, while Quint earned three points.

Fayette's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Macon, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
