Soccer Game Preview: Okeechobee vs. Sebastian River

The Okeechobee Brahmans will challenge the Sebastian River Sharks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sebastian River took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Okeechobee, who comes in off a win.

Okeechobee's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Westwood. The result was nothing new for Okeechobee, who have now won nine contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Westwood with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Roberto Casas, Alexander Hernandez, and Isaias Salas.

Meanwhile, Sebastian River managed to keep up with Melbourne until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Sharks lost 4-0 to the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Sebastian River can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 409th, while Melbourne are ranked 61st).

Okeechobee's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3-3. As for Sebastian River, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-3 record this season.
