Basketball Recap: North Newton Spartans vs. Hebron Hawks

North Newton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Hebron Hawks and fell 73-36. The Spartans were down 54-27 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Wynsma's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Peter Socci, who went 7 of 9 on his way to 20 points.

North Newton's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hebron, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

North Newton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-33 defeat against Highland on the 7th. As for Hebron, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-39 loss against Lowell on the 10th.
