Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Mount Pleasant

Mount Pleasant had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 46-41 W against the William Penn Colonials. This was payback for the Green Knights, who suffered a 56-51 loss the last time these two teams met.

Mount Pleasant's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.3 points over those games. As for William Penn, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.

As of now, neither Mount Pleasant nor William Penn have any future games scheduled.
