Basketball Game Preview: Gentry Rams vs. New Hope Trojans

The Gentry Rams will take on the New Hope Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gentry will be strutting in after a win while New Hope will be coming in after a loss.

Gentry was handed a 21-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 33-31 victory over Cleveland Central.

Meanwhile, New Hope came up short against Pontotoc on Friday, falling 55-30. The Trojans have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Gentry now has a winning record of 13-12. As for New Hope, their loss dropped their record down to 16-5.
