Conestoga Valley has gone a perfect 4-0 against Governor Mifflin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Buckskins will head out to challenge the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Conestoga Valley has six straight wins, Governor Mifflin has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Saturday, everything came up roses for Conestoga Valley against Lebanon as the squad secured a 49-15 victory. Fans of the Buckskins have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Teagan Ruble continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 59 yards and two TDs on only eight carries, while also picking up 64 receiving yards and one score. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Esbenshade, who threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes.

Conestoga Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Anthony Rodriguez, Josiah Garcia, Konner Fisher, and Jayden Conaway picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Governor Mifflin played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Wilson 42-10. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-3.

Conestoga Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Governor Mifflin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Conestoga Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Governor Mifflin in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 28-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buckskins since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
