Basketball Recap: Riverdale Comes Up Short

Riverdale lost against Neah-Kah-Nie back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Riverdale Mavericks took a 66-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates.

Riverdale's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-5. As for Neah-Kah-Nie, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Banks the next time they take the court. Neah-Kah-Nie will head out to face Banks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Riverdale will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
