Soccer Recap: DePue Comes Up Short

DePue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Hinckley-Big Rock Royals. If DePue were looking for revenge after losing 10-1 to Hinckley-Big Rock when the teams met back in April of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

DePue's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for Hinckley-Big Rock, the win snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 3-9 record.

Looking ahead, DePue is taking a road trip to face off against Indian Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hinckley-Big Rock, they will host Genoa-Kingston at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Genoa-Kingston will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something Hinckley-Big Rock surely won't give up without a fight.
