Softball Recap: Bradford Wins Going Away Against Twin Valley South

Bradford got themselves on the board against Twin Valley South on Thursday, but Twin Valley South never followed suit. They blew past the Panthers 13-0. The Railroaders haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Vivian Harlemen made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Harlemen was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Lexi Clark was incredible, going 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Chloe Hocker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Bradford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. They are 6-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Bradford's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Twin Valley South, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bradford will head out to face off against Ansonia at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Twin Valley South, they will venture away from home to challenge Fairlawn at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
