On Friday, Elgin got the win against Pine Eagle by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cove, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Griswold on Saturday.

The victory got Cove back to even at 7-7. As for Elgin, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
