Baseball Preview: Sutton Sammies/Suzies vs. Douglas Tigers
The Sutton Sammies/Suzies will head out on the road to square off against the Douglas Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games Sutton has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Sutton blew Blackstone-Millville out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Blackstone-Millville got their revenge. The Sammies/Suzies fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 4-2. That's two games in a row now that the Sammies/Suzies have lost by exactly two runs.
Sutton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dante Yantin, who went 1-for-2 with one run. Andrew Cloutier also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
