Softball Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bloomsburg last Wednesday, Danville came back down to earth. Danville took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Loyalsock Township Lancers on Friday.

Breece Wilson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Brynn Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Danville's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Loyalsock Township, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Danville and Loyalsock Township will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Danville will face off against rival Shikellamy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Loyalsock Township is set to take on their familiar foe Southern Columbia Area at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
