Volleyball Recap: Hagerman Now 14-2 over Last 16 Games

Hagerman won the last time they faced Raft River and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Pirates were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trojans.

Hagerman was led to victory by Addi Chizum and Payge Nyborg. Chizum had 25 digs and four assists, while Nyborg had six digs and three aces. Chizum has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 18 times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Hagerman was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 18 consecutive matchups.

Hagerman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. As for Raft River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Hagerman will challenge Murtaugh at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Raft River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
