River Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the United Lions. One positive for the Panthers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Sammy Yanits was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
