Soccer Game Preview: Bellevue East vs. Roncalli Catholic

The Bellevue East Chieftains will square off against the Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Bellevue East and Omaha North had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Chieftains took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings on Tuesday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Bellevue East couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Roncalli Catholic waltzed into their contest last Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 7-1 victory. Considering Roncalli Catholic have won six games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Conestoga with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Will Preston (3), Eli Mace (2), Sebastian Camio, and Caden Wassenaar.

Roncalli Catholic's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Bellevue East, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
