Baseball Recap: North Fort Myers Falls Short of Charlotte in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Fort Myers can now relate to. They fell 8-5 to the Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Fightin' Tarpons this season, with their most recent loss being a 5-2 defeat on Thursday.

Caedon Conn was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for North Fort Myers and nudges their season record down to 16-12. As for Charlotte, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.

As of now, neither North Fort Myers nor Charlotte have any future games scheduled.
