Softball Recap: Spartanburg Takes a Loss

Spartanburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dorman Cavaliers. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Madi House was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 4-3. As for Dorman, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spartanburg will square off against Chapman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dorman, they will challenge Gaffney at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
