Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask River Valley). Everything went their way against the Sauk Prairie Eagles on Monday as they made off with a 14-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

River Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Sauk Prairie, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Looking ahead, River Valley will be playing at home against Lancaster at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sauk Prairie, they will head out to face off against Mount Horeb at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
