Volleyball Recap: Sidney Red Raiders vs. Scottsbluff Bearcats
Sidney was the 2-0 winner over Scottsbluff when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Sidney Red Raiders fell 2-0 to the Scottsbluff Bearcats on Saturday.
While Sidney had to take the loss, they sure made a game of it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22.
Scottsbluff can attribute much of their success to Kinzley Hess, who had four digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Hess a new career-high.
Sidney's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Scottsbluff, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-15.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Mitchell the next time they take the court. Scottsbluff will head out to face Mitchell at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Sidney will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
