Baseball Recap: Lake County Takes a Loss

Lake County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 22-6 to the Dresden Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 last Monday.

Lake County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryson Johnson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another was Will Cain, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Lake County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17-1. As for Dresden, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-10.

Coming up, Lake County will square off against Fulton City at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dresden, they will head out on the road to face off against Camden Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
