Hackensack had lost six games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-11 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-12 victory over the Teaneck Highwaymen. With that win, the Comets brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Briana Darling was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six stolen bases, and five runs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 runs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Janae Neal, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
