Soccer Recap: Eagle Valley Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Eagle Valley was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Standley Lake Gators could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Eagle Valley didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Summit on the 18th. As for Standley Lake, they will have to wait a while for a more definitive result, as their next game is a ways away: they'll take on Wheat Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. The matchup will give Standley Lake their first taste of in-conference action this season.
